Party time in Boracay

Party time in Boracay

Going to Philippines islands is a must for the nature lover and the beachcomber. Landscapes are beautiful and people are peaceful in this archipelago of more than 7000 islands. The globetrotter must add this destination into his bucket list. Normally, you will land in Manilla. Huge city with tremendous traffic jams and some insecurity that made us avoid the visit. Too hot and too noisy. Some travelers decide to go north and visit the Pinatubo volcano and its blue lake….

Plitvice on a misty day

Plitvice on a misty day

On my way to Zagreb, I decided to make a side trip to Plitvice to see the famous lakes of the Croatian National Park. Ring of Kerry, yes or no ?

Ring of Kerry, yes or no ?

Don’t miss the cliffs of Moher

When you look at the list of must-go places in South Ireland, you will find the Cliffs of Moher. So, on my way from Galway to Limerick, I decided to tick this Pinterest place. It is only a 1h and half drive on a country road that can get tricky when crossing buses (quite a lot) or annoying when behind one (if you are a good and reckless driver, you can try to overtake it at your own risk). On the way, there are…

Galway and the Connemara

Galway and the Connemara

I do like to rush on my road-trip. It is part of the fun. Landed at Dublin in the afternoon, I was sleeping at Galway, 3 hours later. Renting a car at airport is straightforward (although you might end up taking the shuttle). Record the GPS position to return the car in time without the stress of missing your flight. Driving on the left side of the road is not an issue as you sit on the right : just remember to use…
